After leaving an emergency vet that dismissed my concerns with my griffon I believed was Pyoing, I immediately called north Oatlands and they told me to bring her in. Not only did was the staff friendly and welcoming, they immediately addressed my concerns and confirmed my initial concerns. The staff not only stayed late to perform my dogs emergency spay but they’ve reached out multiple times to check in and make sure she’s still doing well. If I could give north oatlands 10 stars I would. I will continue to willingly drive the 2.5 hours it takes to get to them.
As a breeder, I am at North Oatlands a lot. From lots of well care visits with the dogs to 8 week old puppy checks and vaccines and everything in between. I have always had a great experience with all their Vets and staff. They are very knowledgeable and supportive. The facility is amazing and now they have boarding and training. Recently, I was able to board one of my dogs and coordinate 1-on-1 training while he was there. I highly recommend North Oatlands for all your Veterinary needs.
I have been delighted with the care my Yorkie Max has received from North Oatlands. They are very organized in their approach, extremely knowledgeable in their practice, and most importantly to me: obviously caring and able to describe in layperson's terms what needs to be done, when, and how. I feel as though I am giving my faithful companion the very best care he can get, and that makes me feel great (Max too, probably!) I highly recommend this veterinarian practice!
Dr. Rickard and team has saved the life of my oldest dog, Rosie, a 13- year old black & silver Miniature Schnauzer, several times. She also cares for my other two black babies. Dr. Rickard is extremely knowledgeable and experienced in addition to truly caring about our dogs. At times she consults with other Vets and other resources, which is of great value. I highly recommend Dr. Rickard and North Oatlands Animal Hospital & Reproduction Center.
