Meet Dr. Keith Taylor
Dr. Keith Taylor joined North Oatlands Animal Hospital in August 2026, bringing decades of veterinary experience and a compassionate, relationship-centered approach to care.
A well-respected veterinarian in the Northern Virginia community, Dr. Taylor is known for his calm demeanor, thoughtful communication, and genuine dedication to both pets and their families.
Dr. Taylor earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Virginia before receiving his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech. He is also an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.
Inspired by the human-animal bond from an early age, Dr. Taylor has dedicated his career to helping pets live healthier, happier lives. He takes pride in partnering with pet owners through every stage of care and building lasting trust with the families he serves.
Outside of work, Keith is an avid endurance runner who supports Nyaka Global through the New York City Marathon and ultramarathon trail races. He is also a lifelong musician and drummer, having played in multiple original and cover bands, and enjoys exploring sound through instruments such as the didgeridoo, overtone flute, and handpan.
