We at North Oatlands Animal Hospital & Reproduction Center understand that leaving your pets behind when you travel – whether it’s for work, family, or fun – can cause you stress and sleepless nights. Worry no more. We offer full-service boarding for your dog or cat. And, should your pet get sick while you’re away, they’re in exactly the right place!
Our boarding areas are clean and comfortable and designed to meet the unique needs of our dog and cat clients. For cats, that means having a dedicated feline boarding space, far away from the dogs. Our cat condos are on a separate floor from the dog kennels, ensuring a peaceful stay for your fluffy friend.
Find the Right Stay for Your Dog
We offer three different types of boarding:
- Standard Kennel Run is a traditional four-by-six-foot run in a large room where dogs can see and hear other dogs.
- Deluxe Room offers a more private, comfortable space for your dog.
- Upstairs Suites provide a quieter, more secluded environment away from the main boarding area, making them a great option for anxious dogs or those who prefer a calmer stay. Please note: Upstairs Suites are not recommended for pets with mobility issues.
Every boarding room includes a cot, food and water bowls, and regular bathroom breaks and playtime as requested in our fenced-in yard.
We recommend that you bring your pet’s own food to help maintain their normal diet during their stay. Effective October 1, 2026, we ask that all meals be pre-portioned for the duration of your pet’s stay. If needed, we can provide a low-fat, GI-healthy kibble for an additional charge.
Feline Boarding Made for Comfort
Our feline boarding section offers two different types of boarding. They are:
- Single Cat Condo with space for your cat to relax, rest and play with toys if they like.
- Double Cat Condo which features larger accommodations for larger pets, or just to give your cat more space to roam.

- Negative feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus test (annual)
Canine

- DA2PP (Distemper, Adenovirus, Parvovirus)
- Bordetella (within the past six months)
- Leptospirosis
- Canine Influenza (H3N8 & H3N2)
Additional Requirements
- Negative intestinal parasite test (within the past six months)
- Current heartworm test (annual)
Important Notes
Your pet must be current on all required vaccinations prior to boarding. We strongly recommend vaccinating at least two weeks before your pet’s boarding stay, as this allows adequate time for immunity to develop. Please note that Leptospirosis (Lepto) and Canine Influenza Virus (CIV) are two-part vaccine series, requiring an initial vaccine followed by a booster. Both doses must be completed prior to boarding.

All cat boarding options (Single Condo and Double Condo) are located upstairs, away from the dog kennels to ensure a quiet and comfortable stay for your cat.
